Built under heavy controversy, and burned down during the war of independence, the Custom House Visitor Centre explores the rich history of an architectural triumph, while encompassing over 230 years of Irish history. Opened in November 2021, the Custom House Visitor Centre reveals the stories behind the building, burning and restoration of this iconic Dublin landmark.
A History of a Port City
Lar Joye, Dublin Port’s archivist and one our Directors, will be coming to the Custom House Visitor Centre on Friday 14th June.
He will be giving a talk about the interesting history of the port over the last 300 years.
The talk is free but tickets are limited.
