Our church was designed to be part of new town of Enniskillen that was created in the years following 1611 on the orders of King James the First of England. The first church building was probably completed in 1627.

VE Day 80 Enniskillen

The Inniskillings Museum is hosting Enniskillen’s Service of Peace on Thursday 8th May 2025, a commemorative community event marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. This historic occasion will bring together the four churches on the island of Enniskillen in a shared act of remembrance, reconciliation, and hope for future generations.

Following the church service, a spectacular community-massed band of 80 pipers and drummers will parade through the town, arriving at Church Street at 8.45pm. The event will conclude with the lighting of a ceremonial beacon at 9.00pm by Viscount Brookeborough, Lord Lieutenant for County Fermanagh, accompanied by local Army and Air Cadets.

As part of VE Day 80 on 10th May, the Band, Bugles, Pipes & Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment will play in Enniskillen. The Beating Retreat and Commemorative Community Concert are both free of charge.
